Desperate Housewives Reworked Artwork

I didn't see this in a thread, but Buena Vista has modified slightly the cover art for Desperate Housewives S1. Rather than a plain white front, the cover has a satin-type look, and the dresses of the women are now outlined.

Fine by me. I find her sort of scary-looking, anyway.

I wonder why all those other people are taking up space that could be used to show more of Eva Longoria, though.

This is a major improvement, but it doesn't reflect the satire quality of the show at all. This show is a comment on suburbia at it's finest and ugliest. The promotional image of the show with the five ladies and Mary Alice in the background 'got it'. This doesn't.

Looking forward to the release, however, no matter what the cover is.

I was upset at the lack of good artwork too. Obviously they're trying to cater to the magazine crowd who watch the show purely for the attractive leads...

It's OK I wouldnt say the pics are the most attractive of any of the shows leads
