This week Ken McAlinden reviews Albert Lewin's MGM adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, a highly awaited release that gets notable recommendation. Charmed Aspect ratio

Hi

Living in the Uk i noticed that a canadian dvd site had Charmed for sale for less then £20 with carriage. A huge bargain. However being a lover of all things widescreen ( this isnt a debate bout this by the way) I saw that a uk site had this ,albeit hugely more expensive, listed to preorder as widescreen. Any of you experts have any info on this?

The proper AR, at least for early seasons, is 1.33:1. I haven't followed the show over the years to know if that has changed during its run. There wasn't much of anything being produced for widescreen broadcast in the U.S. in 1998.
