SVU, where are seasons 2-4?
I'm curious as to why Seasons 1 and 5 are released but not 2-4.

Season 1 came out, then they released Season 5 because it was "fresh in consumer's minds" having just finished. Universal is essentially doing two release patterns for Law & Order... one for the older seasons and one for the newest seasons. Eventually, they'll get caught up, but don't be surprised to see this sort of format for the next couple of years.

Has there been any word on the remaining seasons of any of the L&O shows?

I'm curious about this also.. I haven't been able to find any info regarding any other L&O DVD sets and was wondering if anyone has any?

Update!
From TVShowsOnDVD.com,

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - Second Season in Sept
Posted by Gord Lacey

Universal Home Video has just announced the second season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for release on September 27. This 3 disc set (double-sided) will include all 21 episodes (924 mins) from the second season of the show. Universal has an English Stereo track listed, but previous sets have included Dolby Surround audio tracks, so it's likely this will as well. There will also be English and Spanish subtitles, and Full Frame (1.33:1) video. The discs will come in slim cases with an outer box. Suggested retail price is $59.98.

I'm glad that they've finally announced this title, though I wonder if it will be released by itself or with at least one other L&O show (hopefully Season 2 of CI, Season 1 of TBJ and Season 4 of L&O).

According to TV Guide, TNT has passed on bringing TBJ to their network, but there is still a glimmer of hope that it will be brought back to NBC (or possibly USA) for another midseason debut.
If TBJ is released on DVD, it needs to be done soon, and a possible rush to buy the show from the fans of the show might convince NBC to bring it back.
