Columbo: Season One - Very good, but......
I have just picked up the long-awaited box set of the first season of Columbo. Overall, I must say they did a very nice job in the transfer work given the age of the material.
My only complaint is the lack of ANY extras whatsoever. There isn't even a booklet inside the box giving background information on the series and/or individual episodes. There isn't even a listing of original air-dates corresponding to each program. I hope Universal will think about this when they continue to release this wonderful series. I know every studio tries to keep the costs down by not giving tons of "extras", but let's not get ridiculous about it in the other direction either!
