Trailer Park Boys - US Release?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Canadian TV series TRAILER PARK BOYS is going to be released on DVD in the US anytime soon?

I see that it is available Region 1 from Amazon Canada, but for all three seasons, the price is $75 US ($90 Canadian) which seems kind of steep since there are so few episodes.

Since it is currently on BBC America, I didn't know if BBC Home Video had planned on releaseing it.

Might have to spring for the Canadian DVDs since it is such a great show. Sort of THE OFFICE meets COPS.

I wouldn't expect a US release. Alliance Atlantis owns the rights to the series, and they don't have distribution in the US. They're also an incredibly short-sighted company, and the thought of licensing it to a US distributor would make too much sense for them.

I think your best bet would be to pick up the sets off Amazon.ca.

Any word on when there will be a DVD release of Season 4? I've heard tantalizing tidbits of recent episodes like "Conky" and "The Green Bastard" and I can't avoid spoilers forever, knawhamsane???
