Having reread Mark's comments several times, I'm at a loss to determine exactly what constitutes grounds for this type of caution.
Mark simply pointed out that Salas responses seem to lean toward a defense of mediocre work by studios. Mark speculated (as opposed to accusing)that Salas's perspective could possibly be influenced by his role as a reviewer and that relationship to studios who provide advance screening copies.
If chides are being handed out, you might want to review the dismissive nature of some of the Salas responses when a poster presents a different or more critical perspective.
I will depart this forum. My supply of happy pills and rose-colored glasses isn't up to the task.
