OK, so "Danny Williams" is listed instead of just "Danny" in the openings. That's fine.

But is the theme music of these 2nd season shows as it should be in those opening credits, or is it still the 1st season music?
A change like this is nothing though. I remember a VHS release I bought of the GUNSMOKE episode "The Jailer" -- the famous Bette Davis episode from 1966, one of the first color shows from the excellent 12th season. For some bizarre reason the 12th season opening theme was replaced with the 14th season opening!

Buck Taylor wasn't on the show until 1967!! At least the end theme was the 1966 one. I just don't get that at all. If CBS Video were "lazy" they would have left it the way it was....not change it.
Back to Five-O, I'm glad that they've reinstated the pre-credits wave for Season 2. Not only is the 4th season (1971-72) opening theme music superior to the previous seasons, but its wave also has a similarly different orchestration as well. But after Zulu left the show, the fifth season on has no wave or even a teaser before the theme anyway. Seasons 9 to 12 have brief scenes from the show itself.
