Bumpers as Extras

I think it would be cool if the studios started putting the shows' bummpers on the sets as extras. Alf and Roseanne had very funny bumpers.

Transformers and G.I. Joe have there bumpers between the commercial breaks.

I used to watch ALF all the time, but I don't remember any "funny bumpers". (It's been a while.) Can you describe these, please?

Send a message via Yahoo to JasonPW
"Before you get up for that final snack,
I want you to know I'll be right back. Haaaa!"

Also used was "I want you to know I've got your cat. Haaaa!"

Bumpers are a GREAT idea!!! It's a nice extra touch that takes the viewer back.... ahh, I remember that...

I think the School House Rock DVD put some bumpers on their set.

I hope they have these bumpers on the Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie sets.

On Bewitched it was a close up of the cartoon witch and it had the words "Bewitched will be right back". A little bit of the theme song played and the witch twitched her nose.

On I Dream of Jeannie it was a picture of the bottle with the eyes and the words were on the screen as well as the announcer saying "I Dream of Jeannie will be right back". At that point the eyes would blink.

Along with that I hope on the Bewitched sets they have the introductions by Elizabeth Montgomery from about the fifth season where she would say, "Hi. This is Elizabeth Montgomery. Stay tuned for Bewitched, next...in color." or the eighth season variant where it was Liz again but this time she said, "Hi. This is Elizabeth Montgomery. Stay tuned for Bewitched!" And then she'd snap her finger and disappear.

Little things like that make the DVD set in my opinion.
