The entire series is out in England as of last year and here we have nothing. Was the show more popular there or is it just cheaper to release things there?

It's out in other countries as well.

Again, has nothing to do with "cheaper" or "more popular" and has everything to do with syndication. Things are just different for some series overseas.

Be patient and I'm sure you'll see it here.

I don't think it has to do with syndication, I think it has to do with music rights.

Yes, it's the music rights because the laws aren't so strict over there.
Ally was my all time favorite show for years and I bought a hackable DVD player just to collect the show from overseas.
That's how much faith I have in it ever being released here!
