Im a huge fan of the 80's cop show 21 Jump Street,
and I was wondering if anyone had any idea when they
plan on bringing out the series on DVD.

I agree, 21 Jumpstreet DVDs are WAY overdue!

I've no news regarding a possible DVD release. I'd like to think it would happen given Johnny Depp's career success.

A few years ago I bought a few seasons of the series on ebay. They were TV recorded copies but good enough for me!

I remember reading a few months back a rumour that the series was in the works, but past that, no further or concrete information.

I would suspect though that at the least the first few seasons of this show would be music clearance hell as well.

they plan to release a new movie based on 21 jumpstreet.. more like 21 jumpstreet the next generation.. supposely johnny depp would play the captain in the movie.. and have the rest as a new cast.. I would expect them to release the dvds, once the movie is out.

paramount pictures is making the movie.

Wow. I find it nearly impossible to believe that anything could induce Johnny Depp to be in a 21 Jump Street movie, but I love the idea. (I remember an interview where he joked that he'd do the movie if it was the original cast, still trying to pass for teenagers after all these years) Maybe Paramount will have to promise to let him go all Pirates of the Caribbean with Hanson. hee.

But put me down as another one looking forward to 21 Jump Street dvds.
