Mine was a $5. I spent it on a pack of lunch meat and some apple juice. I really wanted Rocky 2 and 3 in the bargain bin but not this time. I'll grab those next week when my wallet isn't so empty. Oh, not sure if I already asked you, do you test drive cars when you go? I tested 3. Two SUVs were really nice but the mileage was so high (83,000 and 91,000) and they wanted top dollar ($10,000 each). Pretty funny.
Exactly! That is the best time to buy one. Maybe this year I'll go for it. My boob tube was bought in the mid 1990s. That Sanyo just keeps on going.

That's pretty amazing...my 32-inch Magnavox (bought it in September 1995) was still going along quite well last year when I finally replaced it with a 46-inch Sony Bravia LCD HD-TV, and I love it. Won't ever go back, and I can't even tolerate analog programming much anymore after watching HD.

I replaced a 32" Toshiba that our bought at Sears in 1991. It still works and it's in another room.

I went into Wally World today and looked in the $5 bin, found a copy of Adventures of Robin Hood: season 1, so I bought it.

Re: Whats the last TV DVD you bought
I picked up all five seasons of Combat at the last Amazon sale. I'm enjoying everyone of the stories so far. I also got the last two seasons of the Twilight Zone definitive edition after waiting for the prices to finally come down. Two great shows from yesteryear. And the special features are to die for.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to making that jump up to HD. It won't be long now. I could buy one now but I'd rather wait until I move away from this awful neighborhood I live it. I don't think anybody here has anything like that and they'd probably want mine.
I think my Sanyo is a 27". I've never had a problem with it. I bought a box that added a bunch of ports and allowed S-video, which really makes the wait for HD not so bad. Things look pretty good that way.

Nice. I have an old Zenith bought for use with a Commodore VIC-20 in 1981 or 82. That TV still goes and goes. The picture sure isn't all that but it works fine for old TV shows like the ones Mill Creek releases.

Anyone know if there will be a season 2 release? They'll sell at least one to me.
I really dig the Bard songs at the beginning of each episode. And the theme song reminds me of Monty Python, the hilarious "Dennis Moore" sketch.

The "Dennis Moore" song from Monty Python was a direct lift from the "Robin Hood" series end theme; the Pythons just changed the lyrics to suit the needs of the sketch.

I liked that too, wish they could have ended the episodes the same way. I've only watched the first 4 episodes so far and am real;ly enjoying them. I love the humour in the show, especially the scene in "The Moneylender" where Robin commits his first robbery . Greene is great as Robin, I also really enjoyed Rufus Cruikshank as Little John. Based on what little I've seen so far, I'd buy season 2.
