I've only seen a few episodes of 3rd rock over the years because it was always on at the same time as something else. I'm almost positive I'll love it. Hard to beat Lithgow. And the rest of the cast is excellent. I've always had a thing for Kristen Johnston. Whoo hoot!! Having all 6 seasons for a show I missed but I know will be great will kick all kinds of booty.

Oh, yes, it will...loved Lithgow as Dick and Kristen Johnston as Sally best of all the characters on the show. Glad I have the series on DVD, as honestly, I kind of faded from watching the show on the tube in later seasons.

Re: Whats the last TV DVD you bought
I'll bet I've seen no more than 2 episodes for a reason I can't really pin down.
I can't wait to try the 3D stuff in that one season. There's even extras in 3D.
I also missed a lot of Seinfelds. It's been awesome catching up on that one.

I missed a ton of Seinfeld. Came in to that series late in its run on TV. I own all there is thus far on DVD...again, another show that I'll eventually circle around to once I make my way through my current crop of X-Files Season 2; Buffy Season 7; Charmed Season 7; and Star Trek: TNG Season 3.

I hear ya. I think I just need Seinfeld S7 and S8.
I'm really looking forward to starting X-Files and ST:TNG. I missed a lot of eps from both those. Sure things, both of those series.
I blind bought Buffy 1 years ago and took a long time to get through it. I'll continue it someday. I just completed Herc and Xena which have a similar feel (to me anyway) so I'm covered with that kind of material for a loooong time.

I blind bought Buffy (I'd seen a few episodes here and there, but heard good things about it from friends) and definitely blind bought Charmed. The only show I'd seen in the series heretofore was the series finale last May. I've been pleasantly surprised with both shows, which are in a similar vein with the supernatural, and would definitely recommend both series. I would advise said prospective purchaser to watch for the Fox TV DVD sales on Amazon about the first of the year, tho. That's where I scored big with Buffy and Charmed last year and X-Files and That '70s Show this year.

Re: Whats the last TV DVD you bought
I'll take a look at Charmed. I'm sure youtube has some clips. OT, I saw The Craft in WM dvd dump. I remember liking that a bit and it seems similar to all of this.
Oh, I just bought Rosanne and probably saw no more than 2 seasons. I've never seen Osbournes but I've always kind of liked Ozzy himself more than I like his music.

We're really taking this thread a bit off-topic, so let me restore some order here...
Just pre-ordered the ``M*A*S*H Goodbye, Farewell and Amen'' set that gives you the final episode of the series and the extras that were finally offered in the darned series box set after the rest of us had bought the series piecemeal! Darn Fox! So, they finally made good on that...
Yesterday, I pre-ordered ``Hogan's Heroes'' Sixth and Final Season and on a lark decided to pre-order a DVD of ``Comedy Central's Roast of William Shatner'' since I'm in the midst of writing a canned (pre-written and reported) obituary for him. No, no, he's not dead yet! Thank goodness. I'm sure there will be more orders to come in this space for me. I'm doing my part to keep the U.S. economy moving along.
