Re: Whats the last TV DVD you bought

I just bought a bunch:

Good Times 2-6 (now complete!)
What's Happening 2 & 3 (now complete!)
All in the family 1-5
Diff'rent Strokes 1 & 2
Soap 1-4 (complete!)
The Partridge Family 1 & 2
Gidget complete series
The Flying Nun 1 & 2 (I figured, why not? I got Gidget!)
The Facts of Life 1 & 2 set
I Dream of Jeannie 1(in b&w, of course) & 2
Seinfeld 6
Hazel 1

I'll also order:
The Jeffersons 1-5
Bewitched 1-3

Thought about:
Married With Children 1-5. But I didn't like the title music change.
Barney Miller 1
Archie Bunker's Place 1. I'll prob wait until AitF is complete.

Re: Whats the last TV DVD you bought

I missed out on getting the Jeffersons 1-5. I hate when sales end before they say they are. DDD said "sale ends 1/16". Usually that means you can order on 1/16 but not 1/17. Grrr...

Anyway, I did manage to order Married with Children 1-5. The first 2 seasons have ole Blue Eyes so that's good enough for me. I also realised that Season 5 has an episode with yummy Joey Lauren Adams.

I also got Bewitched 1-3. I was wondering how the colorized versions of 1 & 2 are? I'd love to see some screen shots. Just curious. I wouldn't buy anything but the original b&w.

Well, that's it for me and TV DVD for a while. Broke the bank on my purchases.

deepdiscountdvd.com (or deepdiscount.com, now) They had a load of TV DVD 2 for the price of 1. So Married with Children/Bewitched/Gidget/etc was $15 each, All in the Family/Good times/jeffersons was about $10 each, etc. Sweet! I check DDD often so I don't miss out. Last year I was broke so I missed getting Xena, Hercules and Lost in Space in this deal. I won't miss another one!
