Paramount Home Entertainment distributes the Comedy Central release of Chappelle's Show - Season 1 Uncensored beginning on February 24th. As with a few other Paramount TV-on-DVD releases, there is no official SRP on this in the United States, but it's expected to have a street price of about $20. The Canadian list price is CA$32.99, for 315 minutes of hilarity on 2 DVDs. Features are as follows:
All 12 uncensored and unblurred episodes from the 1st season
Audio commentary on five episodes from Dave Chappelle & co-creator Neal Brennan
Deleted scenes/gag reel with commentary
Featurette "Ask A Black Dude With Paul Mooney"
Full screen format; Dolby Digital English Surround; sub-titled in English and closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired.

Doesn't everyone have these memorized by now from the number of times they've been repeated?

I'm there anyway. Must have the "Mad Real World" on DVD.

I don't think I watched it consistenly enough to love it, and I thought it would've been better as a Best-of set. Thinking again though, the last thing I want to do is encourage studios to release their shows in this format. Also, $20 is a pretty solid deal for the first season set.

Newsreporter: "This just in... FUBU and KFC have just merged to become the world's largest monopoly!"

Clayton Bigsby: "Let's talk about Chinese people, with all their kung fu and silly ching-chang-chong talk. I can't understand you... go back to your country... (pause) white power!"

If nobody has seen the pilot episode and finds the second quote offensive I'll delete it. I think the line's delivery was just sooo funny and, like most of his jokes, should be taken in context.

So I guess that means that the melted Snickers bar will be shown in all it's glory.

I'm Chinese and I think it's hilarious. That skit was absolutely hilarious. At $20 (!!!!!), this is SO mine!!!

The man I loved - the man who vanished - he never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there, somewhere. Maybe some day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman, I'll see him again.
