Do we know whether or not Best Buy will have a bonus disc for the South Park season 3 set like they did for season 2? I'd like to know for sure. If there's no bonus disc, then I'm just going to order it elsewhere.

Season 3 is being published by Paramount, who frequent;y does promotions with Best Buy, so there's a good chance. No specific info, though.

Yes I'm aware of that... but I was just hoping someone knew for sure one way or the other by now, given that the DVD comes out in 2 weeks.

When you consider that Christmas is just around the corner, wouldn't it make sense to include the original Spirit of Christmast short as a bonus feature or easter egg? I have to imagine that the folks at Comedy Central are getting tired of all the requests for a legitimate release of this cartoon. I had all but given up hope until they offered the Cartman Gets an Anal Probe pilot as a limited edition bonus disk for the second season set.

yeah, but who owns the rights to it? It could be the executive who paid them to make the video Christmas card, which the Spirit Of Christmas originally was. If so, Comedy Central doesn't has the right to put it out.

If there was going to be a Best Buy exclusive disc for season 3 of "South Park" we'd probably know about it by now since it's less than two weeks away.

A) I've heard that there are some issues involving... music, was it?... for the "Spirit of Christmas" short(s).
That said, they're hilarious.
B) I hate exclusives. Not usually the best prices for crap they could have squeezed on the disc.

thank god I still have that TIGER WOODS video game...
They hid the video of SPIRIT on some of those discs...
Until the makers found out and started to recall them...

I love South Park and will be getting all of these regardless but each set seems to have less and less extras. I'm glad to see the commentaries are back (even if they are mini commentaries). Those first season commentaries were very funny.
