Unfortunately it's not always that easy. I have to track down WHO to talk to at HBO, and then once I do I have to hope that they'll be forthcoming with information. Hollywood is big on relationships, and they usually take more than a phone call to build. Don't worry though...I'm working on it, just give me some time.

It can also be difficult to follow up on these things. I'm not sure how many people know this, but Dave and I both have "real" jobs that we work at during the day, so those usually take priority during working hours. I think Dave is also putting in a lot of overtime these days.

Sadly, both boxsets have been met with a "Unspecified delay"

Its great to see some kind of release.

I would buy season sets in a heartbeat if they were released.

I hope you can come up with something Gord. Cheers for helping us out.

I remember reading an article or press statement somewhere that spoke of a new distribution contract which Nelvana Ltd has aqquired in conjunction with some other media corp. to distribute a majority of their licensed cartoons and the original Tales From The Crypt was mentioned as being one of the first proposed series for release. Does anyone have anymore info or follow-ups on this as it must have been a few months since that information was given..?

Also does anyone know if Nelvana still holds licensing rights to the Beetlejuice cartoons?

Thanks!

Gord's not kidding. Read this for more info!

I don't expect to have my full weekends available to me for several months. Perhaps well into April, maybe even May.

Thanks for the answer to my question David!

I really hope Gord can find out something about a DVD release.

1€ is about 1.25$ so 26.99€ is about 33.75$. I think that's quite expensive for only 9 episodes with no bonus features.

Thibault.

Sorry guys, no luck for "Tales from the Crypt." HBO doesn't mention what they're working on, but the person I spoke to said there aren't any plans for the show at this time, but did confirm that they own the rights to it still.

It's a shame about Tales From The Crypt, really good show thats defintly a must for DVD.

Gord did you ask or know about Dream On, Encylopedia Brown, Full Seasons of Hitchhiker or the status of season two of Six Fieet Under?

Jim, they won't talk about titles until they are announced so I didn't ask about anything else since I knew what the answer would be.

There are quite a few companies that won't talk about titles until they're announced, I had hoped to go around some of those people and find someone that WOULD talk, but that didn't work

Gord
P.S. I just thought of one other avenue to try
