Yes - it's been shown before in HD.

Re: Does BEAUTIFUL GIRLS have enough audience to warrant a reissue?

Scott Rosenberg is the guest columnist for TVGuide.com. In his column, he writes about the genesis of both "Beautiful Girls" and "October Road".

Guest Columnist Scott Rosenberg on October Road's True Story - Celebrity and Entertainment News | TVGuide.com

I hope this drums of interest for tonight's new episode and next week's 2-hour season finale (which begins an hour early at 9/8c). There's still no word yet from ABC if they'll renew this for a third season.

Just thought others might be interested in reading. And there's nothing yet on a Blu-ray release or special edition DVD for "Beautiful Girls".

Disney/Buena Vista/Miramax: Please put Beautiful Girls on Blu-ray with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer in 1080p, and an anamorphic re-release with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer day-and-date on DVD. Thanks!

A massive letter-writing campaign to ABC is being timed each Thursday. October Road co-creator/Beautiful Girls screenwriter Scott Rosenberg has recently told fans on the ABC.com message board to "fight on." Do you also have a tennis racket? Know of someone who does? Please help in the fight to bring his Beautiful Girls spin-off, October Road, back to the airwaves.
