I think if they did a tie-in with Star Wars (and hopefully not with a printed blurb on the cover), they could generate some retail exposure. However, it is way beyond late for that this year.
I do hope Miramax revisits some of their initial LD ports with proper transfers, otherwise I'll end up buying the R2 versions if they are superior.
Miramax certainly has quite a few DVDs that IMHO will generate enough interest if re-issued with a better anamorphic transfer. Beautiful Girls and Life is Beautiful are the ones I'd certainly grab.
Since it's been 6 months since this came up last, figured I'd check to see if anyone has heard any rumbling about a reissue, or if anyone else wanted to add their name to list who want one.
Is there a decent version in any other regions in NTSC? There seems to be a few Reg 2 releases that are decent- but I'd prefer NTSC- is there maybe a decent japanese release?
