Count me in
I loved this movie. I don't have the current issue of Beautiful Girls so a reissue with bonus materials would be welcoming news. It's just unfortunate that we won't get Ted Demme's contributions and insights

This is one of the few titles on my "non-anamorphic/don't buy" list because I was sure it would be revisited. Needless to say, I would buy the anamorphic version without a thought, and an SE would make it all the sweeter. All too sad that he died so early in his career. I'm sure his words on this (and The Ref) would have been special.

You can count me in on this one It is easily one of my favourite movies of the 90s and deserves an SE treatment.

"Oh Mikey do you think I even know what the hell they are talking about half the time? I dont know whether they are talking about how hard it is to be adopted or how their father never shows them love. All I do man, is I wrinkle my eyebrows, stare at their lips and somehow I turn out to be some big sweetie." - Trent Walker (Swingers - 1996)

Both myself and my girlfriend love this film. It'd be in my Top 20 easily.

I'm currently waiting for the original DVD, on order from cdplus.. I hadn't seen it available anywhere locally, and Amazon's price was a bit steep.

While I would like to see a reissue, I don't know if I would purchase it.

My Small (But Prized) DVD Collection!

\"Actually, I am in really bad shape financially.\"

Timothy Hutton's character (Willie) was not believable. Any man would have held out for Marty.

I tossed around buying the current version because I love this movie. I passed hoping a better version would come. I would buy an anamorphic version in a second.

Well said! But I think the movie would have been poorer for it. Definitely one of NP's defining roles, along with The Professional/Leon.

I love this film. I own the current release, and would buy a cleaned up SE anytime it becomes available.

This alsohappens to be the only film with Rosie O'Donnell where she was actually funny. Great cast, great film.
