FOX: 3 Women

"3 Women" is one of Robert Altman's best films, and it has never received a release on home video in any format. Of the five Altman films that Fox controls that have yet to reach dvd, "3 Women" is the one that appears to be the most requested on this forum and elsewhere on the Web. With director Robert Altman enjoying his biggest success in years with "Gosford Park," and star Sissy Spacek earning raves for "In The Bedroom," the time to release "3 Women" is sooner rather than later.

I don't think there's any catalog title I want as much as this one.

Yes! 3 Women deserves the DVD treatment! I'd pay the SRP for this one.

A new print was shown at Roger Ebert's unsung films film festival last year although they were missing a reel, or something to that effect. The point is a new print has been struck, leading me to believe a DVD is and/or should be on its way. Let's go FOX!

And how bout the other Altman titles out there: A PERFECT COUPLE, H.E.A.L.T.H., QUINTET, A WEDDING, and the Alan Rudolph-directed/Altman-produced WELCOME TO L.A.

Yes, I'd buy "3 Women" in a heartbeat. One of Altman's very best films, and Fox should be scheduling it as soon as possible.

I'm still waiting; a year after seeing the new print at Ebert's festival. I will buy this title as soon as it comes out. Please hurry!

Definitely on my "most wanted on DVD" list. Fox, you really need to release this film, one of the best films of the 70's.

I'm giving this thread a bump, because I've recently read a couple of other posts elsewhere asking about this title.
