Risky Business 25th Anniversary DVD - 16/09/08

Warner Home Video has announced a 25th Anniversary edition of Risky Business which stars Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay. The Paul Brickman directed film will be available to own from the 16th September, and should retail at around $19.96. Extras will include a commentary by Tom Cruise, director Paul Brickman and producer Jon Avnet, an alternate ending, and a new making-of documentary. A Blu-ray edition will also be available for $28.99 with an additional video commentary function, and a digital copy of the film for transfer to a PC or portable device. Stay tuned for the official package artwork.

Hopefully, Paul will explain why he's only done 2 movies in the last 25 years.

Why couldn't they release this on August 5th, which the exact 25th anniversary of it's theatrical release, and happens to be a Tuesday to boot?

I got the current DVD for cheap, so I'll gladly pick this up.

Anyone know what the alternate ending is for this film? IMDB doesn't mention anything about it.

I think I remember reading the original ending is that Joel does not get into Princeton, and was changed after negative tests.
