This week Ken McAlinden reviews Albert Lewin's MGM adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, a highly awaited release that gets notable recommendation. Todd Erwin gives us two reviews of the recent "Indie" releases, Harold, starring Spencer Breslin -and- Dororo, a live-action comic book adaptation directed by Akihko Shiota. Lords OF Dogtown

Just got the dvd for real cheap the other day, and I was amazed how much I enjoyed it. From seeing that trailer a few years ago, it didn't look to be a good film, but I like skateboarding so I finally picked it up, watched it, and presto, great movie.
Hoping for a possible Blu-Ray release. but something tells me this movie didn't do so well in dvd sales, so I may never see that happen!




Not on dvd yet...what a crime!

If you haven't seen the documentary Dogtown And Z Boys, check it out. Love or hate skating, I think it's a great doc.

I liked this movie, but they ruined the DVD by using player-generated subtitles for the brief moments where the characters speak Spanish.
