The Man Who Would be King being restored?

Was there mention in the Warner's chat that "The Man Who Would be King" is being restored ? If so, any timetable for DVD release ?

I'd like to see this released properly, although I'll likely hold out for it in HD.

I wouldn't mind replacing my flipper, although I might keep it for the vintage trailers for other Huston films in 16:9.

Yes I recall this film as being mentioned as set for a re-issue on DVD. Hence I haven't bought the current version.

Hopefully it comes out next year, I doubt it will come out this year.

Just saw it last night on Universal HD as a double feature with the Wind and the Lion and it seemed to be in excellent condition - I don't know why the DVD is the way it is still.

Just because Warner hasn't got around to it--like hundreds of other titles, some of which are waiting for anamorphic release, like 2010 and LadyHawke.
