LICENSE TO WED
LANDS ON DVD OCTOBER 30th
FROM WARNER HOME VIDEO

Includes hilarious performances from Academy Award winner Robin Williams,
Mandy Moore and John Krasinski

Burbank, CA, September 6, 2007– Get ready for a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy this fall when License to Wed roars onto DVD October 30th from Warner Home Video. Director Ken Kwapis (TV’s The Office, The Bernie Mac Show, About a Boy) helms this amusing tale that follows newly engaged Ben Murphy (John Krasinski) and Sadie Jones (Mandy Moore) on their quest to make it to the altar. The couple’s happily ever after seems virtually impossible when they are put through the uproarious and outrageous Reverend Frank’s (Robin Williams) patented, “foolproof” marriage-prep course consisting of outlandish homework assignments and outright invasion of privacy.

License to Wed features performances from comedy favorites including Academy Award Winner Robin Williams (Happy Feet, Man of the Year, Mrs. Doubtfire), Mandy Moore (Because I said So, Saved, Chasing Liberty), John Krasinski (TV’s The Office, Shrek the Third) and Christine Taylor (Dodgeball, Zoolander, The Wedding Singer).

License to Wed will be available in widescreen and full screen format for $28.98 SRP as well as on HD/DVD Combo for $39.99 SRP and Blu-ray disc for $34.99 SRP.

“cute story...with good laughs.”
- Rachel Biggs, IGN Movies

SYNOPSIS

First came love....then came Reverend Frank
Newly engaged, Ben Murphy (John Krasinski) and Sadie Jones (Mandy Moore) can't wait to start their life together and live happily ever after. The problem is that Sadie's family church, St. Augustine's, is run by Reverend Frank (Robin Williams), who won't bless Ben and Sadie's union until they pass his patented, "foolproof" marriage-prep course. Consisting of outrageous classes, outlandish homework assignments and some outright invasion of privacy, Reverend Frank's rigorous curriculum puts Ben and Sadie's relationship to the test. Forget happily ever after--do they even have what it takes to make it to the altar?
