Warner Bros.: Great Customer Service (Business Affairs)
I purchased Justice League Unlimited: Season 1 when it came out. Only last week did I realize that Disc 3 would not play in any of my players, including my DVD-ROM. I watched numerous other titles and TV series before this set.
So I looked at WB's website to look for contact information on hopefully returning the set for an exchange. After looking around, I found it and followed the instructions to send it to Business Affairs. Their FAQ says that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the replacement.
It took about five shipping days to reach them on 1/8. When I got home yesterday, I got a package from them with my replacement set ... a total of four days, including the time it took to ship to me! Now that's great service and it included a courteous and professional letter addressed to me, not some form letter.
Thank you, Warner Bros. Home Video, for the excellent service and response time. Hopefully other studios can follow your example and provide the same service since their customers pay their money and expect a working product and sometimes we can't watch these sets within the retailers' time frame for return.
By the way, Disc 3 works fine.
