Is DVDPlanet gone?

Hi. I sent in over $300 worth of DVD's for a trade-in with DVD Planet, but the company seems to have disappeared. Their phone was busy every time I called it the last two days and they have not responded to any emails sent over the last 7 days (other than the auto reply emails, of course).

Worried.

Death to PG-13! And now death to DVNR too!!

Re: Is DVDPlanet gone?

DVDPlanet is still very much there -- but they've got a 20% off sale of their own going and it seems their already non-existent customer service is taking a hit more than before.

Do you have Mark Harrill's address? He ran Digital Eyes and is now running DVD Planet -- I will PM you his address, he usually responds within 24 hours and he also has an assistant who will take care of things.

Re: Is DVDPlanet gone?

I have sold them a lot of used DVDs and the store credit usually shows up in my account within 2 weeks of mailing. Shopping with them can sometimes be a frustrating experience (their site isn't the most user-friendly and their customer support isn't the most responsive), but I stick to them because of all the Criterion DVDs I buy each month. In any case good luck. Hopefully the store credit will show up soon in your account.

If it were gone, that wouldn't have been too early.
