Koreandvds.com Site Does Not Work

Does anyone know what's going on with koreandvds.com lately? I've been trying to get to their site for the last couple of days - it does not work. I have sent a couple of e-mails to theie customer service - no reply.

Yeah, it's been down for a couple of weeks now, at least -- just vanished overnight. I do hope it's just a Web issue, and they haven't gone out of business; they are one of my favourite e-tailers for Far Eastern stuff.

Thanks Steve! I placed and order with them on July 21st and was just checking the order status. I have also bought many DVDs from them before. I hope they respond to my e-mails.

That sucks. Have they charged your credit card yet?

Luckily, I don't have any orders outstanding with them at the moment. I love that site, though ... everything is dead cheap -- even the postage -- and always beautifully packaged.

I'm interested to know how you get on.

I agree. What complicates matters even more is that I just recently found out that I had a store credit with them (result of an earlier refund when instead of crediting my card, they issued a store credit without even telling me). All three e-mails I have sent to them returned undeliverable. I just called my credit card about the dispute details. Shame on koreandvds.com! What an ungraceful exit!

I think they are out of business-IMO...

No e-tailer would ever put up with a 2-3 week downtime-think of the thousands in lost business. They would switch ISPs, buy new servers, etc.
I used to be able to get their Korean page, but dont remember the URL.

At least there is still www.dvdheaven.com, who seem to be OK, as Ive ordered with them-and they were often a trifle less expensive...

(hmmm...now THEIR page wont open- maybe North Korean has invaded...)

Thank you Michael! I heard many good things about www.dvdfromkorea.dvd site. In fact, someone even claimed that this site was the reason koreandvds.com went out of business. I am looking forward to buying from them in the future.
