Re: THE MATADOR question

And your question is......?

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Re: THE MATADOR question

I'm taking it you are asking whether or not there is bonus material.

You must have got a bare-bones copy. DVD Talk has a review up that says there are two commentary tracks (one by writer/director Richard Shephard; the other featuring Shephard, Pierce Brosnan, and Greg Kinnear), 16 minutes of deleted/alternalte scenes, a 10-minute featurette, acouple of radio interviews with Shephard and a trailer and a TV Spot. Visit DVD Talk and read the review. It's currently the second-most read review at their site.

Otherwise, I agree the movie is excellent, and anyone who fights that opinion just isn't willing to accept its humor, which is very off-color.

Do you have a non-retail screener? The standard retail version has two audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and other extras.

And I'm also curious to know what your question is!

Re: THE MATADOR question

My question is, what would be the cause of the movie being jumpy like that?

Also the copy I had was from my job at Blockbuster, I rented it on my employee account and it had NO extras like deleted scenes, making of featurettes.

But I am most concerned regarding the "video quality" of the disc. I can't recall 100% of the studios behind it but I think that Miramax is one. Hasn't there been issues in the past about their disc's video performances? (Cold Mtn., Gangs of NY, Chicago)?

I haven't really noticed anything with 2 of the films I listed but that was before I got my HDtv. Flaws show more with HDtvs than regular ones right?

Like I said though the movie/story/acting was really good. I will buy a copy regardless of any problems the disc has.

I hope my reply and been more forthcoming with what my concerns were, sorry if I wasn't too clear before I was being destracted and trying to hurry.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE, PEACE CHRIS
