Great news!

I only own one of the Brooks' movies (Young Frankenstein), and will gladly double-dip for an anamorphic version.

As for the Altman set, I hope that they're available separately. I have the 2-disc set, and don't plan on replacing it. I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ouch! It looks like April will be an expensive month for DVD shopping.

I already have Young Frankenstein. The only other film I would want is High Anxiety. Hopefully, it will be offered separately.

I hope they release those Mel Brooks films individually.

The Twelve Chairs isn't being debuted on dvd - I already own it on dvd.

I really want High Anxiety, and I'll gladly double-dip on Young Frankenstein, but I'm not sure I'd buy a box with those plus 3 dvds I already own and 3 I don't want.

Still if they're stand alone (or the price at Costco is low enough - a real possibility), then I'm all over it.

It is a little pricey since I have Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein however I will shell it out if I have to
for High Anxiety, Silent Movie, and Twelve Chairs. Especially since the tape that had 12 Chairs went kaput last month. I wish they would include some episodes of When Things Were Rotten with Men In Tights. I thought that was even funnier.

The current Young Frankenstein is non-anamorphic, so a new version is welcome.

It doesn't sound like there's any indication of Young Frankenstein being a new transfer from the details posted.
