King of kings (1961)

I love this transfer, It's the best looking transfer of a 50's/60's Eastmancolor film I've seen so far, but then I'm not that experience with DVD's, I don't watch many of them, just those that I'm interested in.

It seems that the negatives were well preserved. There is almost no fading visible (it probably did fade, but slight fading can be adjusted in telecine), while other films from that time like sparatcus, show quite a faded negative that seems is beyond repair. I've also been watching hammer's "the mummy" lately, which is also quite faded, and so is "how to marry a millionaire"...

King of Kings has beautifull colors. Specially the part shot in spain.

Anyone else have any comments on this DVD?
