Hearts & Minds - New R2 UK, anyone got it?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had picked up the newly released R2 UK dvd?

Particularly interested in relation to how it compares with the Criterion edition in terms of transfer and the quality of the exclusive UK commentary and interview?

The transfer used for Metrodome’s Region 2 release of Hearts and Minds is identical to that of the previous Criterion release right down to that company’s logo appearing before the film begins. As such the print is a director approved one and in fine condition. Sadly, however, this disc also offers it up as an NTSC-PAL transfer with results in a loss of clarity, saturated colours and highly noticeable ghosting during moments of heavy movement. Indeed, it’s a blight on an otherwise fine presentation.
