Release date for the 2-disc special edition is Oct. 25th. That's right: next Tuesday. Get on those pre-orders!

Features and specs:

*Region 0

*2-Disc Set (keep case)

*Widescreen - 16.9

*Dolby Digital Surround Ex - English

*Audio Commentary - Alan Jones - Journalist, Kim Newman - Journalist

*Interviews
Dario Argento - Director/Co-Writer
Vittorio Storaro - Cinematographer
Ennio Morricone - Score Composer
Eva Rezi - Star

*Original International Trailer
*Original Italian Trailer
*Original U.S. TV Spots

*The Films of Dario Argento Trailer Gallery

If I were more computer-savey I'd post the cover art for you. It's a solid black case with red lettering and a red banner at the top with "2-Disc Special Edition" on it. Sounds plain, but it looks pretty classy.

Great movie, and the version I have was the first DVD which has some pretty bad cuts.

Any idea if this is going to be an uncut version, with improved video, etc.?

All that, and quite a bit of etcetera, as well.

I've had this disc for a while. Tim isn't overstating his case on this disc. The transfer is a thing of beauty and the DTS mix is wonderful.

Excellent, sounds really great. Happy Birthday to me!

Just wish the Italian track was in DTS as well.
