Batman: Mask of Phantasm R2

In case anyone is interested the above has just been released, it is the uncut edition (at least according to the BBFC!) and is in 16:9 Enhanced widescreen.

Sound is Dolby Surround, I remember some talk of it being Dolby Digital SRD theatrically, but the logo on the back of the print says Dolby Stereo...

Picture fairly good but for a bit of noise, sound is good.

You can get it for £9 from cd wow...

The R1 version was released here years ago. Did it just come out in R2? Was there a previous R2 release that was edited? (Because you mentioned this one being uncut.)

Was the R1 Warner release edited and if so, in what regard?

I thought the WB R1 disc was anamorphic as well, no?

Is this new release from the UK or another region and is it safe to assume (if it's a European release) that PAL will be an issue here?

Finally, any extras?

Thx.

I've been waiting for a Special Edition of this title for too long!

Pal isnt an issue if you live in the UK, which this title is from!

As far as i'm aware the '99 R1 dvd is anamorphic and uncut.

No extra's, not even the trailer.

I have the video. Appears to be in the flashback when the thugs attack the ski-masked Wayne. Obviously to remove an illegal weapon. In the cut version...

(a group of thugs surround Wayne)
Thug 1: I'm shaking!
Thug 2: Say your prayers, suck- (cut off due to cut)
(Suddenly the thug nearest to camera falls over in a jump cut and the fight starts)
