GEORGY GIRL on DVD 7/5

GEORGY GIRL with Lynn Redgrave, James Mason, Alan Bates and Charotte Rampling , one of my favorite films from the 60s ,has been announced according to DVD Planet for July 5th. I've been waiting for this one! I hope its letterboxed.

It's Columbia, I believe, so I'm quite sure, like the majority of their catalog titles it will be anamorphically enhanced for widescreen TVs.

Unless of course, it is consdiered a comedy, like GIDGET series, and will release it full screen.

I noticed that SONY was releasing NADINE on the same date. List price is $24.98. Why is SONY charging so much for catalogue titles? Paramount, Warner, Fox, Universal all seem to be sticking around the $10. - $15.00 range.
