What do you think about a new "Exorcist" Special Edition with both 25th anniversary and The Version you never seen, using semless branching tecnology and moving the extra features for the second disc? I want the 25th aniversary and it's out of stock here. "The Version You Never seen" is the only version available.

Current editions:

Exorcist (The): 25th Anniversary Edition

R1 - (Warner Bros Home Entertainment)
Commentaries: Commentary by director William Friedkin
Audio commentary by 'William Peter Blatty'(qv), including audio outtakes of sound effects
Extrasroduction notes
Special introduction by director William Friedkin
"The Fear of God: The Making of the Exorcist", a 74 minute documentary
Eight theatrical trailers
Six TV spots
The Original Ending
Sketches and storyboards
Picture format:1.85:1 Anamorphic NTSC
Soundtrack(s): Dolby Digital 5.1 format
Case type:Snapper Case

OVERALL: R1 - due to the slightly longer documentary. Please note - the longer American version of the documentary is available on the UK VHS version of the film. Bizarre!

Exorcist (The): The Version You've Never Seen
R1 - (Warner Bros Home Entertainment)
Commentaries:New Commentary by Director William Friedkin
Extras:2 Theatrical Trailers
4 TV Spots
2 Radio Spots
Cast & Crew Listing
Production Notes:

Subtitles:English and French (the packaging incorrectly states Portuguese and Spanish as well)
Picture format:1.85:1 Anamorphic NTSC
Soundtrack(s): Dolby Digital 5.1 EX English
Dolby Digital Surround English
Case type:Snapper Case
Notes:This is the version that contains within the film the deleted scenes from the original disc, such as the 'spider-walk'.
