Sounds great, and hopefully Media Blasters will make sure they check the transfers and final discs for quality problems and technical snafus *before* releasing them.

I found this out literally a couple hours after picking up my R2 (non-subbed, $60) Mysterians DVD from the P.O. In fact, when I read it on a website, the disc was still in my player where I'd stopped it to make a phone call. Definitley a DOH'! moment.

All I can say is I hope Media Blasters' looks better than the R2...

Where did you hear about these, Jay, if'n you don't mind me asking? One of the reasons I ask is because, neither Dagora or Varan have even come out in R2 (Japan) yet (to the best of my knowledge).

Question is will Mysterians be the un-cut 88 min or the US cut 85 min version?

That is great news.

I thought I had read in Video Business that they were also releasing 80000V Electric Dragon but haven't been able to find it again.
