It's just a repricing tho. The original was NON-anamorphic in japan

The UK edition is anamorphic, if your set-up can handle a PAL signal.

After looking at a number of webpages in Japanese, it is 16x9 anamorphic.

Because the info on that website is taken from the Buena Vista Japan website. Further, every Japanese brochure I have seen (and I have seen many) of the coming attractions has never changed the specs.
