Wouldn't this have been better in the Regional DVD area?

I just want to know about R1. I know they're coming out, but hopefully we'll get a concrete date sometime soon.

The Korean discs seem to be the same as the "special editions" that have been available in R2 for some time now, with the exception of the DTS on Crimson Tide...

From what I've read, the special features are a joke: EPK stuff and a few deleted scenes.

I'll wait for R1 versions (although, they could end up being the same as the others).

I hope that Crimson Tide comes with some good
features (at least 1 commentary track and maybe
deleted scenes and interviews). It's funny that
the laserdisc had a featurette, and the original
DVD was bare bones.

Pretty please, with sugar on top,
clean the f**king car.

Craig, re your post #6: are you talking about the R3 release not being anamorphic? NicheFlix is not listing it as of this typing and the listing at KoreanDVDs.com doesn't say that it is anamorphic or not (which probably means it is not).

If R3 is not anamo, then it would certainly appear that the way to go on these 2 right now is R3 for Enemy and either R4 or R2 from Crimson, yes?

There is no NTSC version of CT that is anamorphic. So yes, you're going to have to go with a PAL R2 or R4.

But remember...if sound is important to you, you're losing a DTS track by going either of those routes. So you have to choose.
