I've been waiting for years for "A Handful of Dust" to come out and apparently it is on November 16 from HBO Video (thanks to DVD Answers):

Only 4:3 full-frame, which is definitely NOT the intended aspect ratio. I saw this in the theater in 1988 and it was either matted for 1.66:1 or 1.85:1 and I think that my taped-from-cable VHS copy is letterboxed through the main credits. I am praying that this is a mistake as I am dying for this release.
Odd too, that this is from HBO, when the film was released theatrically by New Line. I hope this isn't another title -- like "Miracle Mile" -- that I have to forego becasue it's been presented MAR.
