Saw a blurb on DVDFile about this documentary being released in Sept. This one slipped past me completely -- I didn't even know it had been made into a movie.
I read the book by Joe Conason & Gene Lyons and thought it was brilliant. It recounts "the ten-year campaign to destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton." That's actually the book's subtitle.
The book comes to the conclusion that what Hillary famously decribed on the Today Show as "a vast right-wing conspiracy to destroy my husband" was actually a very narrow right-wing conspiracy to destroy her husband.
Whatever your political stripe, I think it is well worth a read because it is so meticulously well documented that it is pretty hard to refute.
So, my question is did anybody see this movie and if so, was it any good? Thanks,
Rob
P.S.: Keep in mind the HTF posting guidelines regarding politics and confine your comments to the movie's content if you saw it.
EDIT: I saw some things in the Sunday paper that lead me to believe this docu may not have been released yet. I assumed with the Sept. release date, it had already come and gone. Instead, it may be a short "to home video" window.
"That suits me down to the ground."
