Are Superbit versions superior?

I am still fairly new to HT, and have never bought a Superbit version of a movie. On movies like Das Boot, Heavy Metal, Mask of Zorro, Hook, etc, is it better to spend the extra bucks to get the Superbit version? Are there ones to steer away from?

Thanks!

Steve

I find the Superbit to be of better picture quality than the normal releases and on many, the audio is a bit better as well.

Superbit usually has better quality video.

Also they include both DTS and Dolby tracks.
