THE TIME TUNNEL back on the tube?

FOX and ABC are battling it out over a new TIME TUNNEL series on TV.

I will just say that they need do VERY LITTLE updating to the shows
production design-most everything looked too cool as it was, and the Tunnel itself was perfect. The real problem with the series was that it was set-bound by stock footage and a fixed budget, and the 'history-lesson-of-the-week' writting...

(this was too good to post only on the TV page...)

Overall, I though this was one of Irwin Allen's best shows. I enjoyed most of the episodes. I the best one in my opinion was THE WALLS OF JERICHO. I believe that Robert Colbert is still alive; I know that Lee Meriwether and James Darren are. I would like to see them make a conclusion show that gets Tony and Doug back after 30 plus years and perhaps send two new voyagers into time in a new show. If I remember, there was a debate I believe by Fox whether to canel LOST IN SPACE or THE TIME TUNNEL back in the 60s. At that time, IMO, I thought LOST IN SPACE was a waste of channel space and color film. Fox or perhaps Irwin Allen ending up cancelling both series.

The original series "The Time Tunnel" is on the SCI FI channel during the day...as least in my area.

I've seen "Time Tunnel" Laserdiscs for sale on eBay in the past. (Too Expensive!!) Does anyone know if this Sci-Fi series is due for a DVD release? Thanks.

Shouldn't this be in the TV section?

Movies I would purchase instantly if they were available in their correct aspect ratio:
Death Trap, Innocent Blood, The Shadow, and Remo Williams
