Goodfellas is a gyp!

the back of the box says enhanced for widescreen, but IT'S NOT! does anyone have a copy that actually works on a widescreen TV or did WB screw up?

Brandon - I've heard of a R2 release - but I hadn't seen an announcement of a R1 release. Do you know if it's going to be a R1 release?

Tim - For over a year the R2 releases have been announced much earlier than the R1 releases, but they have been consistantly mirroring each other. Add to that Warner has confirmed that the Scorses films Mean Streets and GoodFellas have been being prepped for SE releases, and you have a release in 2004. Warner simply hasn't made it official yet. They haven't even made any official announcements past early July. But it is coming.

Yeah, I believe I read in the Home Theater Forum
chat with Warner Brothers that Goodfellas SE will
be released later this year. Let's hope so!

Pretty please, with sugar on top,
clean the f**king car.

WB screwed up. Same thing happened on "The Color Of Money", the box says it's 16x9 enhanced, but it's not.
