Thank you gentlemen!
A tons been going on in my life. I've got a newborn on my hands (4.5 months old), I was told by my employer of 11 years that my position was being eliminated at the same time we put a bid in on a new house. I found a new job within the company I closed on my house and then I got fired from my job again!
Gotta love life!
So it looks like Neil has the list updated to date. As I said to him in my email, the releases are so infrequent that I could probably check the list quarterly and keep it up...but I won't.
Cheers!

Looks like War of the Worlds and Fantastic Four isn't EX/ES...
Sucks to be 7.1 right now!
Added Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Titanic release date updated.

I'd like to suggest that the OP include information regarding the fact that this info doesn't get printed on the DVD case.
I think it would help limit newcomer's confusion on why their DVD can be found on the list and yet not include the 6.1 logo (matrixed or discrete) on the DVD case itself.

Quick question:
I've noticed I have a few titles on the list, but as I try to play them, only half have actually had 6.1 channel sound. For instance, Incredibles, LOTR: EE's, and Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets both have 6.1.
On the other hand, I have Gladiator, Monsters Inc., Winged Migration, for example, all did not display 6.1 sound. Is it perhaps because I bought these awhile ago?
If I rebought those movies, would they have 6.1 sound now? Thanks.

Without knowing what kind of receiver you have Alexi here is a explanation:
Speaking for just Galdiator and Monsters Inc. With Galdiator you need a 6.1 capable receiver to decode the 6.1 Dts Es discrete track. The receiver if set to auto detect should automaticlly go to DTS ES as the disc is propperly flagged for DTS ES 6.1. With Monsters you need to manually set the receiver to DD EX. If your receiver is not 6.1 you won't be able to decode any DTS ES Discrete/Matrix or Dolby Digital EX as these require a 6.1 receiver.

I bought my Gladiator when it 1st came out in November 2000. Rebuying em won't change anything.
Hope this helps.

Marantz SR4500. Using Coaxial Digital connection. Set to Auto.
When I play Incredibles for instance, I get 6.1. Same with LOTR: EE's, and other titles I mentioned. Strange huh that Gladiator and Master Commander of the Sea doesn't though.

Dumb question coming here, but what version of Gladiator do you have? The original 2 disc version which had a DTS ES Discrete track, the single disc version w/just a DD track on it or the recently released 3 disc set?
Master & Commander you have to manually set it to EX or ES. It is not auto flagged.

"the single disc version w/just a DD track"
that one. I didn't realize there was a DTS version. I tried looking and found the single disc version and the 3-disc collector's edition. So my bad. Thanks for helping though.
What about Winged Migration?
