I have it for about a year now looks a lot better than the Vhs tpe I had at one time. Note Fisher Stevens who co-starred, was The Plague in "Hackers" 1995 DVD.

Great flick. Stevens stole this movie.

This is the movie with people frozen in ice, right? Famous historical figures, I believe? I think I asked this before.

No,

Spoiler:
the alien engine when connected to the power outlet opens a time space warp which takes over the school. Cleopatra is there, along with a roman gladiator, a caveman, and a space mutant from the future. There is also a t-rex that looks pretty damn good for the time in effects, and a vietnam scene with the world famous Al Leong playing a viet-cong soldier.

The back cover says it just has a "Widescreen (2.35:1)" transfer, Dolby Digital Surround Sound, and Spanish Subtitles.

Yet DVD Empire lists it as anamorphic. If it's non-anamorphic, I'll keep my AB DVD that I bought for $5 one day at K-Mart. If it's anamorphic, it better be a damn good transfer for me to consider buying it.

Bummer. Then I'll have to keep searching for the "icy" movie. I saw it in the theater in the mid-'80s, and have no idea now what it was.
