There is stuff but then we are talking about Di$ney BUT they have made CT & EotS Special Editions????

Re: Crimson Tide and Enemy of the State SEs due 5/4 (but POSTPONED)
| I've been watching films at 25fps for decades and don't recall any sounding like "Mickey Mouse" |
Well, those who are bothered by PAL speedup are certainly not imagining it as it is demonstrably true that the 4% increase exists. Of course not everything on PAL is going to sound like "mickey mouse". For instance, the following certainly wouldn't: Steamboat Willie, Two-Gun Mickey, Mickey's Birthday Party, Mickey & the Seal, etc., etc.

"Subtitles good. Hollywood bad." - Tarzan, Sight & Sound 2012 voter.

Re: Crimson Tide and Enemy of the State SEs due 5/4 (but POSTPONED)
Well you need to read what I said carefully Steve. I said that those who are bothered by Pal speedup are not imagining it. I didn't say that pal speedup necessarily sounded like Mickey Mouse (I find that to be a colorful, but very exaggerated description). I'm simply pointing out that you can't say I'm imagining hearing the pal sppedup when it is 100% factual that the pal speedup exists (unlike, e.g., claims about differences due to cable, in which the 'science' can be debated). If you don't hear any differences due to pal speedup, good for you, I guess, although it probably implies some limitations on your perceptual limen, though as far as pal speedup goes, that would be a good thing.
I guess I didn't do a very good job separating the "speedup is real" line, from the mickey mouse joke. I should have made it clearer where my serious statement ended and my joke began.
As far as polls go, I post in many different areas, polls, movies, software, the after hours "100 reasons why Steve Christou is weird" thread, coupons & bargains, htf feedback, etc.

Although it's not Crimson or Enemy, since it's been mentioned here frequently I thought I'd link to the following High Def Digest report of an announcement expected Thursday at the IFC convention in Berlin by the Blu-ray Disc Association of a fall Armageddon Blu-ray--especially for you Jedi Master Qui-Gon.

Is THIS the recommended R3 version with the R1 transfer & extras + DTS, etc as mentioned in the other thread?

Boy talk about good news/bad news. Great they're doing it, but Blu-Ray. It needs an amamorphic re-release in SD-DVD. I don't have BR, and although I love this movie, that isnt reason enough to buy into BR.
