...which, of course, begs the question, "Why bother?" The people who really are looking for something substantial to be added will be disappointed, too, and then everyone will grow even more tired of the "unrated" marketing angle.
I agree that the "unrated/extended/whatever" thing has really gotten old. If it is truly the director's preferred version, then fine, but sometimes scenes that have been taken out need to stay out.
Of course, now that I've said this, I'll still probably buy this disc, but shouldn't the new transfer and all the new (to R1, anyway) extra content be enough to sell it?
