MGM/American International Pictures

Since MGM has the DVD rights to the entire American International Pictures library, I wonder if we'll ever see a DVD release of BLOOD AND LACE or ABBY (blaxploitation film withdrawn because of its alleged similarities to THE EXORCIST)...

Thanks Claude for mentioning BLOOD AND LACE! I keep bringing it up as well. MGM does have the rights, and I would love to see it on DVD. They don't have the rights to ABBY any more, it's due on November 11 from Eclectic, but I think it will be postponed.

I would love to see "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" out on Dvd. My old Goodtimes LP-Mode P&S tape needs to be retired.

Yes, TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN should be 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen.

If a rep is looking, how about (in addition to what's been mentioned here already): KONGA, RETURN OF COUNT YORGA, LOVE AT FIRST BITE, DR. GOLDFOOT AND THE GIRL BOMBS, BLOOD AND LACE, QUEEN OF BLOOD, OLD DRACULA, FOOD OF THE GODS, INCREDIBLE TWO-HEADED TRANSPLANT, PANIC IN YEAR ZERO, MADHOUSE, THE CRIMSON CULT and HORROR HOUSE?

Whoo hoo! ABBY on DVD!

According to DVDPlanet, it is scheduled for release on 12/9.

And thanks to AlanBrom for this info and the e-mail link to MGM!
