The best widescreen TV shows?
I bought Alias today, purely based on all the good reviews it's receiving everywhere. I never watched a single episode, but I'm pretty sure I'll like it. I'm a sucker for "Nikita" stuff. I have to admit that the fact it's widescreen really helped my decision. That got me thinking, what are the best anamorphic widescreen TV shows I should also consider?

Angel (at least S3+) looks really spiffy in widescreen; Whedon's Firefly also looked nice the two times Fox broadcasted it that way. Boomtown is also nice, and Season 4 of Farscape is something pretty dang cool.

Transplanted Life: Sci-fi soap opera about a man placed in a new body, updated two or three times a week.
Trading Post Inn - Another gender-bending soap, with different collaborators writing different points of view.

"What the hell religion are you people?" - Overheard during the Captain Marvel serial at SF/29

ANGEL without a doubt (season 3 and up) has some of the best framing and cinematography on television.

BUFFY!!! Just kidding. I'll add 24 to the list. The non-split screen segments look a lot better in WS.

The Sopranos. Some people complain about Season 1 being too oriented toward the center of the frame...frankly, I still don't see the complaint and it looks beautiful to me.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. How about Band of Brothers? Is that worth a blind purchase?

For the love of God, yes! One of the best thing ever shown on TV, IMO. The DVD set looks and sounds fantastic.
