High School Reunion Collection Packaging Defective?

I picked up the Box set today and also Three O' Clock High
and I noticed on the individual dvds on the back of them
is this little black circle on the barcode. Anyone else
have this on there copies?.

I think that is so you can't return the discs separately (and make a profit).

The same thing is on most screener/promo discs.

Is it like that for all the Box sets though?. Just
wondering if I should return it for another one.

It's true for any boxset that has cases with UPC's on them too. It's either a circle (like a hole punch) or sometimes it appears to be cut or scratched through.
You will also come across it in CD's in the bargain bins.
I wouldn't return it, the others will be the same way...

My Sixteen Candles has just a blank field where the UPC code should be (which is better, methinks). But the other two have the hole-punch.

I'd show you the back of the SC box, but the pic next to that is a massive spoiler for the end of the film!

Honestly, I was just kidding about the pic. I didn't have it scanned or anything. But if you're serious, respond here and I'll scan it tomorrow morning. Heading to bed here shortly...it's been a tough day.

Okay, I scanned in the upper right corner, with the blank field where the UPC code should be. It should be spoiler-free, the way I cropped it:

For anyone who wants to compare it with the entire cover, including the spoiler, DVDEmpire has it...WITH the UPC code.
